Recipient of the 2025 Royal Holloway Education Excellence Award

In 2025, I was honoured to receive the Education Excellence Award for Excellence Through Collaboration from Royal Holloway, University of London. The award recognises the collective achievements of the teaching and support team for the first-year compulsory Media Arts module.

Together, we implemented a series of strategic improvements that led to a 50% reduction in non-submission rates, significantly decreasing resits and failed assessments. Our collaborative approach fostered a supportive, collegial environment where constructive feedback, shared expertise, and a unified commitment to student success drove meaningful change.

This recognition reflects not only the impact of my pedagogical practice, but also the strength of my collaborative ethos: to create a learning experience where all students are equipped to thrive.
